Saving Energy = Saving Money

A Vancouver based project that shows kids how to have fun helping the environment and saving money.  

In young energy you will learn:

•  exactly where you can make the biggest impact 

•  how to make the best choices to reduce your footprint 

•  how to calculate how much money you can save

How it Works

Step 1:     Calculate your footprint by filling out the Family Footprint Form

Step 2:     Decide which actions you would consider in the Family Action Form

Step 3:     Make a deal with your parents and sign the Contract

Where does the money come from?

• the average family spends more than $5,000 per year on energy
• young energy teaches you how to save more than 10% of that energy
• this means you can save $500 and 2 tonnes of CO₂ each year
